Dr. Hayley Lambe
BVetBio, DVM
Hayley successfully Graduated from a the university of Sydney in 2019, completing a Bachelor of Veterinary Biology and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. After completing her academic journey, she ventured to New Zealand, where she gained valuable experience as a veterinarian and undertook an internship in Equine Clinical Studies at Massey University.
Despite the allure of New Zealand’s lush landscapes, Hayley felt a strong pull to return to her roots in Canberra, her hometown. In February 2021, she enthusiastically joined the team at Canberra Equine, marking her return to the place where she grew up.
Hayley has particular interest in anaesthesia and emergency work including eyes, colic, wounds, and critical care. However, Hayley does enjoy the variety of equine practice from high-performance sport horses to paddock and pleasure horses and can assist with any area of general practice such as lameness, dentistry, reproduction, weight management, etc.
Apart from her professional accomplishments, Hayley shares her home with Misty, a cat she adopted during her university days. During her leisure time, Hayley indulges in outdoor pursuits such as skiing, horse riding, and participating in social team sports.
