Sue has been working at CEH for over a decade. During this time she has enjoyed working in all areas of the practice including nursing, reception and administration. She now holds the position of Hospital Manager, and supervises the training of our staff in all areas. Sue loves the rewarding nature of veterinary nursing especially seeing happy owners with recovered patients being discharged from the hospital after an illness or injury.
When Sue is not working at the hospital she can be found on her 160 acre property located outside Hall where she & husband Graham run Allengreen Stud, breeding performance ponies and as well as breeding & competing with Graham’s cutting horses. They have two young sons, Lachlan born in 2011 and Joshua born in 2014, who love helping Mum and Dad on the farm and with the horses.
Administration – Cert IV (Veterinary Nursing)
Joey grew up in the beautiful Blue Mountains and moved to Canberra in 2010 to work at CEH. She has previously completed a course in Animal Studies at Richmond TAFE and her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Joey has migrated from the veterinary nursing world into human nursing, and commenced a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Canberra in 2014. Thankfully she has stayed on with the team to provide support in our administration department.
In her spare time, Joey enjoys riding her gorgeous palomino stock horse, Harry. She also has a delightful terrier-cross rescue dog, called Sebastian, and three friendly bunnies. A little secret about Joey is that she also sings beautifully!
Lianda grew up in the small town of Michelago NSW, with her family and their horses. Before joining the Canberra Equine Hospital team in 2015, Lianda spent two and a half years working as a veterinary nurse at the RSPCA ACT in Weston. While at the RSPCA she gained skills in nursing very sick or injured patients as well as raising neonatal puppies and kittens. Lianda joined the Canberra Equine Hospital team to broaden her skills in the veterinary industry and spend more time with horses. Lianda is currently gaining her Vet Nursing qualifications.
Lianda was involved with pony club in the ACT for a number of years and competed at state level in mounted games, sporting and campdrafting. She has owned a number of horses over the years and has a love for Haflingers after spending time with them when she was in Switzerland. She most enjoyed riding in the Snowy Mountains with her first horse Clancy. Lianda also has a cattle dog named Keely and a cheeky ginger cat named Pumba.
